I've been using Northland taxidermy since 2013. Ron is a master of his craft. His prices are amazing considering the day and age we live in. Honestly he charges much less than he should. One thing about Ron that I really appreciate is that he works with your schedule and he's very understanding with what life can throw at you. He has got to be the most understanding/kind businessman I've ever dealt with. I couldn't be happier with his work. I wouldn't dream of using anybody else. So if you want something done properly and know you can trust that you will get an amazing piece of taxidermy give Ron a call. Tell him I sent you. 😉
Took my first buck to get euro mounted and was not disappointed! Nice guy and great work! Even for being busy he gets it done in a reasonable time. Definitely recommended 👍🏼
I brought Ron a turkey that i got from southern Illinois in april of 2023 and cant get ahold of him. I phoned him over and over and he never answers. Very disappointed that i cant get an update, even if its not going to be ready for a bit it would be nice to know. Very bad business on his part. I will update if something changes.
Ron is a great guy to deal with, a true artist and craftsman. It’s been 10+yrs, and my mount is still looking like the day I brought it home. Can’t wait to bring something else in one day.
My experience is terrible with northland taxidermy. It was my first bear given in spring 2020 . Took advance . Now not returning calls or text on phone , tried Facebook messenger too . Till date I don’t have a the rug . Please be careful when dealing . I am still trying to get rug . If I get my rug back . I will update my review. I am updating my review, after 2 years got the rug , work is fantastic- I want to give 5 star for work , But giving him 3 star because finally I got the rug back after 2 years
Absolutely amazing experience everytime I bring something to Ron. He has an amazing eye and a tremendous amount of experience. Everything I get back from Ron looks like the day I harvested it, it looks alive.
Ron is fair to work with and does quality work. I’m very pleased with my euro head looks amazing on the wall.
